Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation’s Monthly Lottery Previous Purchaser Draw was held in the main lobby of BUH Friday, April 4^th.  With the assistance of our wonderful volunteers and lottery auditor, Suzanne Odishaw of Baert Cameron Odishaw La Cock, Chartered Accountants, Stella Nikiforuk of North Battleford, ticket #302, was drawn as the winner for the $1000 prize.

Stella was pleasantly surprised when she received a call this morning to inform her that she had just won in BUH Foundation’s Monthly Lottery and it was a pleasure to meet her.  BUH Foundation has wonderful, loyal supporters and ticket buyers and we wish Stella, and everyone who has purchased their tickets, the best of luck in the remaining 157 draws.

The next draw will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 for the Early Bird prize of $1,000, deadline Friday, April 4^th, 5:00pm.  Proceeds from the 2014 / 2015 Monthly Lottery have been allocated towards the purchase of a new $550,000 digital fluoroscopy unit that is urgently needed for the Medical Imaging Department at BUH. This unit obtains real time imaging of a patient, allowing the Radiologist to observe organs and functional imaging of the body. This helps to provide an accurate diagnosis and possible life saving interventions for you, your family and your loved ones.
