G&C Asphalt Continues Support of Festival of Trees

Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation is pleased to announce that G & C Asphalt Ltd continues to support BUH Foundation’s Festival of Trees Ladies Night as the Silver Sponsor of the evening.  This is the third year G & C Asphalt Ltd has sponsored the Festival of Trees Ladies’ Night, but their generosity to BUH Foundation goes back to over 11 years with their continued commitment and support of enriching patient care through the purchase of medical equipment and funding of staff education at BUH.

BUH Foundation’s 2011 Festival of Trees fundraising efforts have been allocated to purchase monitors and IV pumps for Emergency, the Chemotherapy Unit, Surgical Floor, and the Women’s Health & Birthing Centre at BUH.  These pieces of equipment are vital in ensuring and sustaining the health of patients in critical situations.  “The 2010 Ladies Night was a very successful fundraising evening, and with G & C Asphalt’s continued support the 2011 Ladies Night is sure to be successful” acknowledged Deb Wohlberg and Brenda Sparrow, Chairs of Ladies Night. 

Paul & Diane Gervais started G & C Asphalt Ltd in Alberta in 1977 and moved the company home to North Battleford in 1984.  Paul continues to work with the company as a General Manager and is working directly with the Area Manager Ryan Moe.  G & C Asphalt Ltd continues to be a family and community oriented business, proud to give back to the community they serve.
