Rotary Club of The Battlefords Supports CT Scanner Campaign

June 28th 2016

“Rotary Club of The Battlefords is pleased to support Battlefords Union Hospital (BUH) Foundation’s “We Want the Bigger Picture” Campaign for a new CT scanner,” noted outgoing President Bryan Nylander who then added, “The Rotary Club of The Battlefords club members fundraise throughout the year in order that we can provide financial assistance to requests for support such as this.”

The Rotary Club of The Battlefords was inaugurated in 1920 and has remained an active service club in this community.  Projects include sponsoring the Senator Herb Sparrow Park playground and splash park, the Rotary Skateboard Park and Rotary Plaza at the CUPlex.

“BUH Foundation thanks all the members of The Rotary Club of The Battlefords for this kind and generous donation” stated Claudette McGuire, Executive Director BUH Foundation. She then noted while accepting the cheque for $2,000, “We have been overwhelmed with the generosity and kind heartedness of this community and surrounding area for their patronage of this capital campaign!”
