2009 - 2010
Raised funds from the 2009 Golf Tournament have been allocated for equipment to the renal dialysis unit in BUH. Renal dialysis filters the blood of waste products, doing the job of a normal, healthy kidney. Dialysis typically takes 4 hours to complete, and is required 3 times a week. Some patients travel long distances to receive this life-giving treatment, and it is imperative that the patient remain relaxed and comfortable throughout the procedure. The funds raised this year will assist in the purchase of specialized chairs and hospitality units in recognition of this need.
2008 - 2009
The proceeds from this year's tournament will allow for the purchase of four additional pieces of life saving equipment. A Triple Channel IV Plum will be purchased for the Intensive Care Unit, allowing for the administration of three medications with one pump. This compact unit will increase patient and staff safety, aiding in patient transporting and mobilization. In addition, three vital signs monitors will be purchased for use on the 3rd Floor Medical Ward, and in out-patient day surgery. These comprehensive, advanced monitors will provide medical staff with timely, accurate readings of patient blood pressure, pulse rates and temperature.
2007 - 2008
Proceeds from this Golf Tournament will help many in our community as it is going towards the Breast Health Fund which will help to purchase new mammography equipment for our Hospital.

Portable Telemetry units
Portable Telemetry units transmit the patient’s heart rate and rhythm by radio signals to the central monitor in the ICU. For the patient this means more mobility while at the same time providing the physician and nursing staff with timely
intervention and the information needed to treat the patient. The benefits to BUH include increasing monitoring capabilities and eliminating admissions to the ICU for monitoring purposes only.
2001 - 2002
A Laporoscopy Unit for the Operating room
This vital piece of medical equipment enables surgeons to do non-invasive surgery, by allowing them to operate through very small incisions and view their work via camera on a TV monitor. The benefits include minimizing trauma, shorter hospital stays and quicker recovery times. This purchase allows our surgeons to perform more operations locally.
2000-2001
Multi Media Projector- used for Diabetic education
Blood Pressure Machine - for the Pediatrics ward

Ottoscope - for the Emergency Departments
