Monthly Lottery
BUH Foundation began the Monthly Lottery (formerly known as the 50/50 Lottery) in 1993. In its inception, the Lottery was open only to Hospital staff and since has grown to include the general public.
The Lottery coincides with our fiscal year, running from April 1st to March 31st, with tickets going on sale, beginning the last week of February.
The 13 monthly draws are made on the last Wednesday of every month at Battlefords Union Hospital. The winners are contacted by phone and are published in the Friday News-Optimist (sponsored by Battlefords Publishing), the Foundation web page, as well as posted within the Hospital.

Early Bird Draw:
- Wednesday, April 18th, 2012 - (Applications must be received by 5:00 pm Friday, April 13th, 2012)

* All draws pertaining to the BUH Foundation Monthly Lottery will be drawn randomly out of the raffle drum.
* All draws pertaining to the BUH Foundation Monthly Lottery will be made at Battlefords Union Hospital.
** All draws will be made on the final Wednesday of the month at 8:30am, with the exception of December which will be made on Wednesday December 19th, 2012.

Other Logistics:
- Tickets cost $104.00 each.
- A total of 158 draws will be made and 1,200 tickets are available to be sold.
- Every ticket is eligible for every draw (must have purchased a ticket in one or more of the last three years to be eligible to for the Previous Purchaser Draw).
- Forms of payment accepted include cash, cheque, money order, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Interact.
- Tickets can be purchased at the BUH Canteen & Gift Shop, the BUH Foundation Office or by calling (306) 446-6652.
