BUH Foundation Monthly Lottery

Tickets Sold Out

North Battleford, SK – Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation Monthly Lottery tickets sold out on Wednesday, weeks ahead of previous years. 

Consistent with last year’s lottery format only 1,200 tickets were sold with 158 draws, and $50,000 in cash prizes to be awarded throughout 12 months. All ticket buyers benefit whether they take home winnings or not; knowing that they support our local hospital in purchasing valuable medical equipment and ensuring that we have quality healthcare close to home.

The $1000 Previous Purchaser and $1000 Early Bird draws for the Monthly Lottery have been made.  Congratulations goes out to the Previous Purchaser winner for this year; Carl Sankey from Medstead, ticket #734 and the Early Bird winner; Helen Eischen from Meota, ticket #142.

Following the two preliminary draws, monthly draws will take place on the last Wednesday of every month, beginning April 25.  Thirteen draws totaling $4,000 will be drawn each month with the top prize of $1,000, second prize at $600, third prize at $400 and ten prizes at $200. 

BUH Foundation fundraising activities including the Monthly Lottery provide many capital equipment upgrades for Battlefords Union Hospital.  Proceeds from this year’s lottery will go towards the “Breast Health Fund” in support of new mammography equipment for Battlefords Union Hospital.
