Local Fire Fighters Support CT scanner at BUH
North Battleford, SK – The North Battleford Fire Fighters have donated $1,000 to Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation to go towards the purchase of a CT scanner at Battlefords Union Hospital.
The North Battleford Fire Fighters raise funds throughout the year through bingos and other fundraisers, such as their annual spring Steak Night. The funds are used to support worthwhile community projects. Clint Bullerwell, Chair of the North Battleford Fire Fighters Charity Fund comments, “The North Battleford Fire Fighters are happy to support the purchase of a CT scanner at Battlefords Union Hospital. The addition of CT services close to home will benefit everyone in the Battlefords and surrounding areas.”
“It’s great to know that our fire fighters are committed to enhancing lives as well as saving them,” said Al Gotto, BUH Foundation Chair. “The CT scanner is technology that will greatly enhance diagnostic capabilities here in the North West. Thank you to the North Battlefords Fire Fighters for their contribution. This is a very worthwhile cause indeed.”
