Battlefords Board of Education Donates to BUH Foundation

North Battleford, SK – Members of the Battlefords School Division, sub-local #118, Saskatchewan Teachers Federation and the local #1660 CUPE raised $1,350 through an auction at the their annual Board/Staff social in October.

The items in the auction were donated by Board Members, Schools and Central Office staff. The funds were donated to Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation to help enhance patient care at Battlefords Union Hospital. The evening was a huge success and enjoyed by all.

When asked why they chose to donate to the hospital foundation, Kathleen Link, BSD #118 Board Member and Chair of the Personnel Liaison Committee, replied “We wanted to ensure that funds went to an organization that would benefit all communities within our division. The Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation seemed like an obvious choice.”
