TD Canada Trust Main Branch Donates $1,000

North Battleford, SK - The Battlefords Union Hospital Foundation and more specifically the Pediatric Ward at Battlefords Union Hospital was the recipient of a $1,000 donation from the employees at the TD Canada Trust Bank down town branch.

"It was a corporate donation from the head office, given to the staff at TD Canada Trust, to be donated to the local charity of our choice," comments Betty Leslie, employee of TD Canada Trust. "We felt that the children who have to spend time in the hospital should benefit and this way we get to help a large range of children."

"All donations are welcomed and are put to use in the pediatric ward. Because children are smaller they need specialized equipment," says Laurie Schweder, Nursing Unit Manager of the Pediatrics ward.
